Our program will support you in navigating your upcoming career choices and in building a valuable network with bright students and professionals.
Program Content
The mentorship program is designed to be a mix of 1:1 sessions with your personal mentor and workshops with Simon-Kucher consultants and other participants.
In these 1:1 sessions with your personal female mentor, you will have the chance to peek into the world of consulting while being provided with a safe space to reflect upon any thoughts you may have in relation to your future career and development.
In the workshops, we will dive deeper into your personal strengths and how you can leverage these when working with others. You will have a chance to practice case interviews and obtain insights into project case examples. During the sessions, there will be plenty of opportunity to network with Simon-Kucher consultants and other students and graduates in similar positions as yourself
Timeline
The program will be running from March – June 2024. The deadline for applications will close
January 15, 2024 23.59h.
• Introduction to Women Mentorship Program: March 7 (15.00 – 20.00 CET)
• Personality Profiles: April 25 (15.00 – 19.00 CET)
• Crack-a-case session: June 6 (15.00 – 22.00 CET)
• Your 1:1 sessions will be planned between you and your personal mentor on an ongoing basis
All sessions will take place at our office in Amsterdam. The evening program (after 18h) is informal, you are flexible to leave early when necessary
Who can apply
You can apply if you:
• Self-identify as a woman
• Are in your Master’s degree OR have up to 1.5 years working experience
• Are fluent in Dutch
How to join
If you are interested in being a part of the Women Mentorship Program Amsterdam 2024, please submit your application via the Register for event button no later than January 15, 2024 23.59h. Please include your CV, university grade transcript, and motivation for joining the program.
In your motivation letter we ask you to answer the following questions:
1. Why would you like to participate in our Women Mentorship Program?
2. What would you like to learn during our program?
3. How would you benefit from having a Simon-Kucher mentor?
If you pass the application round, you will be invited for an online assessment and interview. The online assessment will be scheduled between January 16 – 22 and interviews between February 1 – 15.
